RESUME
Introduction: Censé pallier aux difficultés et besoins langagiers qu’éprouvent les étudiants scientifiques en apprenant les cours de spécialité en français langue étrangère. Le cours de Langue et Terminologie (L.T), une des innovations clés de la réforme LMD de l’université marocaine, et après 20 ans de sa mise en place tend à être évalué. Objectifs: notre étude tente d’évaluer l’expérience de L.T en jetant un regard analytique sur le mode de représentations adopté à la fois par les étudiants biologistes de la Faculté des sciences d’Agadir (FSA) et les professeurs de spécialité vis-à-vis d’un cours qu’au vu des objectifs qui lui sont assignés est censé répondre aux besoins et attentes prioritaires et immédiats de ces étudiants. Méthodes: Pour se faire, nous avons mené en mois de Mai 2022 une enquête au niveau de la FSA via deux questionnaires adressés respectivement aux étudiants de la première année de la filière de biologie de la FSA et l’autre à leurs professeurs de spécialité. Résultats: la confrontation des avis des deux groupes interrogés confirme une préoccupation répandue au Maroc concernant l’inefficacité des mesures entreprises dans le supérieur pour pallier le déficit langagier qu’éprouvent l’étudiant technoscientifique à son arrivée à l’université. Conclusions : Les résultats, obtenus ont mis en évidence l’insatisfaction totale des étudiants de la première année de la filière de Biologie et les professeurs de spécialité par rapport au cours de L.T. L’apport du module transversal n’est pas très significatif, ce qui fait du module un cours superflu, décontextualisé et en totale rupture avec les contenus de spécialité qui affichent une certaine spécificité faisant appel à tout un arsenal linguistique, culturel, communicationnel et disciplinaire.

ABSTRACT
Introduction : Supposed to address the language difficulties and needs experienced by scientific students when learning specialized courses in French as a foreign language, the Language and Terminology (L.T) course, one of the key innovations of the LMD reform in Moroccan universities, is being evaluated after 20 years of implementation. Objectives : Our study aims to evaluate the L.T experience by taking an analytical look at the representations adopted by both biology students at the Faculty of Sciences in Agadir (FSA) and their specialized professors regarding a course that is supposed to meet the priority and immediate needs of these students. Methods : To do this, we conducted a survey at the FSA in May 2022 using two questionnaires addressed respectively to first-year biology students at the FSA and their specialized professors. Results : The comparison of the opinions of the two groups confirms a widespread concern in Morocco regarding the ineffectiveness of measures taken in higher education to address the language deficit experienced by techno-scientific students upon their arrival at university. Conclusions : The obtained results have highlighted the complete dissatisfaction of first-year Biology students and specialized professors with the L.T course. The contribution of the cross-cutting module is not very significant, making the module a superfluous, decontextualized course that is completely disconnected from the specialized contents which require a certain linguistic, cultural, communicative, and disciplinary arsenal.
