Introduction : la pêche artisanale représente 70% de la production halieutique nationale en Côte d’Ivoire. Elle constitue pour beaucoup de personnes une source d’emplois et de revenus. Toutefois, elle est confrontée à de nombreuses difficultés qui accentuent son caractère informel. Contexte : la création de coopératives regroupant les acteurs de la filière est apparue comme une alternative crédible pour palier à ces problèmes. On assiste ainsi à l’avènement d’associations dans la filière regroupant des acteurs en fonction des catégories socio professionnelles (pêcheurs, mareyeuses, commerçantes, etc.). Objectif : cette étude vise donc à analyser la contribution des coopératives dans l’organisation des pêcheurs à travers une étude de cas à Adiaké. Matériels et méthodes : la démarche méthodologique est basée sur une approche qualitative. La recherche documentaire a permis d’obtenir relatives à la situation des coopératives dans la filière pêche ; leurs objectifs, difficultés et impacts positifs sur les acteurs de la filière. Les entretiens ont concerné les pêcheurs et les autorités administratives et traditionnelles. L’observation s’est faite selon un guide qui a permis d’apprécier les conditions de travail et les impacts sociospatiaux de la coopérative Anouanzê. Résultats : les résultats montrent que la coopérative Anouanzê des pêcheurs d’Adiaké favorise un épanouissement des pêcheurs du fait de l’amélioration de leurs conditions de vie et de travail ainsi que des actions sociales au bénéfice des communautés villageoises. Conclusion : l’étude de l’organisation des pêcheurs artisans regroupés dans la coopérative Anouanzê d’Adiaké a mis en exergue l’importance de cette structure dans la gestion de la pêche à Adiaké et l’amélioration des conditions de travail et de vie de ses membres. Elle participe également à la mise en place d’équipements socioéducatifs.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: artisanal fishing represents 70% of the national fishery production in the Ivory Coast. It is a source of employment and income for many people. However, it faces many difficulties which accentuate its informal character. Context: the creation of cooperatives bringing together actors in the sector appeared to be a credible alternative to overcome these problems. We are thus witnessing the advent of associations in the sector bringing together actors according to socio-professional categories (fishermen, fishmongers, traders, etc.). Objective: this study therefore aims to analyze the contribution of cooperatives in the organization of fishermen through a case study in Adiaké. Materials and methods: the methodological approach is based on a qualitative approach. Documentary research made it possible to obtain information relating to the situation of cooperatives in the fishing industry; their objectives, difficulties and positive impacts on the players in the sector. The interviews concerned fishermen and administrative and traditional authorities. The observation was made according to a guide which made it possible to assess the working conditions and the socio-spatial impacts of the Anouanzê cooperative. Results: The results show that the Anouanzê fishermen's cooperative in Adiaké promotes the development of fishermen through the improvement of their living and working conditions as well as social actions for the benefit of village communities. Conclusion: the study of the organization of artisanal fishermen grouped together in the Anouanzê Adiaké cooperative highlighted the importance of this structure in the management of fishing in Adiaké and the improvement of working and living conditions of his members. It also participates in the establishment of socio-educational facilities.
